President
Enrico Marrone
Enrico is a founding member of WUSC, formerly known as the East Nunawading Eagles Junior Soccer Club, which was established in 1994. Throughout the past 28 years, he has played a pivotal role in the club's development, often regarded as its guiding figure, overseeing significant initiatives such as the establishment of the new pavilion while maintaining a strong emphasis on community engagement.
In addition to his role as club president, Enrico actively participates in coaching the kick-off program, providing support to both senior and junior teams, and assisting with various tasks as needed.
In 2024, Enrico was awarded the Football Victoria Volunteer of the Year award, giving the club back-to-back winners in the Volunteers category.
Professionally, Enrico is an architect, recognised for his impressive designs, particularly within the Catholic and public school sectors.
In his limited leisure time outside the club, Enrico enjoys cycling and cherishing moments with his family.
Vice President
Amanda Armstrong
Amanda has been a member of the club since 2017, when her son enrolled in the kick-off program. In 2020, she took on the role of Uniform and Merchandise Coordinator within the committee. The following year she was elected as Vice President where she spearheaded a sponsorship initiative securing up to nine major sponsors and continues to establish new sponsorship programs every 2 - 3 years. In addition to her responsibilities as Vice President, Amanda continues to manage Merchandise, Social Media, helps with organising events and loves to jump in and help out at the canteen when she can.
In 2023 Amanda was awarded the Volunteer of the Year award for Football Victoria and, more recently, in 2025, was made a Life Member at Whitehorse United.
During the day, Amanda serves as a Senior Bid Coordinator for an essential services company, and in her leisure time, she enjoys creating handbags and wallets as part of her hobby, Made by Moo.​​​​​​​​​​​​​
Secretary
Karen Foreman
Karen has been an important part of our club since 2021. She started as team manager and now serves as our club secretary, helping to keep our committee running smoothly.
With her background as a trained physiotherapist, Karen brings a valuable perspective to our team, especially as we strive to create an inclusive environment for everyone. Her knowledge not only benefits our players' well-being but also fosters a supportive atmosphere for all involved.
Outside of soccer, Karen promotes health and fitness. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, gymnastics, and aerial yoga, reflecting her active lifestyle and commitment to physical wellness.
Karen’s varied skills and dedication to inclusivity make her a valuable member of our club.
Treasurer
John Parisella
John joined the club in 2017 and has been actively involved ever since. In 2023, he took on the role of Treasurer, where he supports the club’s financial management and ongoing operations. Over the years, his interest in the game has continued to grow, and he has enjoyed seeing both of his children take part in the club’s activities and become part of its community.
With more than 20 years of experience as an engineer working with infrastructure firms across Australia, John has managed a range of complex projects and operational responsibilities. His professional background provides a practical and steady approach to governance, planning, and financial oversight within the club.
John hopes to see the club continue to grow as a strong and welcoming part of the Whitehorse community, with the aim of building its reputation as a leading community club in the eastern suburbs.
Outside the club, he follows Formula 1 racing and enjoys cycling in his spare time.
Junior Coordinator
Kim Marrone
Kim is a founding member of WUSC, formerly known as the East Nunawading Eagles Junior Soccer Club, which was established in 1994. Throughout the past three decades, Kim has held various roles within the committee and played a significant part in the merger with Mitcham United SC, leading to the formation of Whitehorse United Soccer Club. Presently, she serves as the Junior Coordinator and Club Registrar. Her involvement in the club has been a significant aspect of her life, and she has found great joy in witnessing the development of numerous players, from the youngest participants in the KickOff program to those advancing to the Juniors and eventually competing in Senior teams.
Kim recently concluded her role as a Primary School Education Support Aide after 21 years at Holy Saviour Primary School. In her earlier years, she pursued studies in Interior Decoration. Both of her children have played at the club, and her son, Luke, was previously Football director and Senior Men's coach.
In 2025, Kim was named Volunteer of the Year in the Whitehorse Council's Sport & Recreation Awards, a well deserved recognition among a field of 13 dedicated nominees.
Beyond her commitments to the club, Kim cherishes time spent with her family, particularly her three grandchildren, Hunter, Parker and Ryo, and she loves creating Christmas craft.
Football Director
Andrew Findlay
Following his recognition as the Club Member of 2022, alongside his wife Rhianna, Andrew seamlessly integrated into the committee in 2023. With his two sons having participated in the club since the Under 8s, Andrew has progressively taken on various supportive roles behind the scenes over the years. In 2024, he expanded his contributions by assuming the position of Football Director while continuing his coaching responsibilities, demonstrating his dedication to the growth and development of both our Junior and Senior squads for the future. He achieved a significant milestone as a coach by leading his 14B team to an undefeated league victory and guiding them to the State Grand Final in 2024. Andrew's enthusiasm for football is evident, having played at both junior and senior levels for 30 years before transitioning to a coaching role at Whitehorse United in 2019.​​​​

General Committee/VCFA Representative
Dr. Terry Howse
Dr. Terry Howse has been involved with WUSC for the past 10 years and remains an active and valued member of the club community. He currently has two grandchildren playing in the junior program, continuing a strong family connection to the sport. His son, Nick, captained the VCFA seniors for six years, previously represented the FV Seniors.

Terry retired a decade ago after a distinguished career as Head of Forming Development with Owens Illinois, the world’s largest glass container manufacturer. Since retiring, he has continued to contribute his time and experience in a voluntary capacity, assisting the VCFA in an administrative role.
Sport has always been an important part of Terry’s life. While he played soccer as a junior, he went on to compete in hockey at county and national level, and also played Rugby Union and Cricket. Over the years, he has served the sporting community in leadership roles, including as Club Secretary at Glen Waverley and President of Boronia Cricket Club.
More recently, Terry greatly enjoyed home schooling one of his grandchildren, and he currently represents the VCFA on the WUSC Committee.
